Quick Setup – Art Speaker

Download & Install the 4STREAM app

That’s the first thing you should do. The 4Stream app (available on Android and iOS) is important for the following features:
– Music source selection
– WiFi connection setup
– Integration with AirPlay (for iOS) and Spotify Connect
– Multi-Speaker and Multi-Room setup
– Access to the full suite of music services (Amazon Music, Internet Radio, Tidal, TuneIn and more)

Speaker Indication Light

The speaker’s indication light is located at the front bottom of the speaker and tells you the 2 important things:
– Status of the speaker (booting up, waiting for connection or connection established)
– Music source (WiFi, Bluetooth, Auxiliary In, USB)

Indication Light Colours
White – WiFi
Blue – Bluetooth
Green – Auxiliary In
Yellow – USB
Pink/Purple – Optical Digital In (future expansion)

Indication Light Blinking Status
Fast blinking light (in WiFi mode) – Speaker booting up
Slow blinking light (in Bluetooth & WiFi mode) – Waiting for connection
Continuous light (in Bluetooth & WiFi) – Connection established

Bluetooth Setup

Make sure the speaker is in Bluetooth mode. You’ll see a blinking BLUE light indicating that the speaker is waiting for connection. If you do not see a Blue light, change the music source by selecting “Bluetooth” via the 4Stream app.

Make sure that Bluetooth connectivity is turned on on your phone.

Go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone and locate “DB Art Speaker”. Pair with the speaker.

Once you see a continuous blue light on the speaker’s indication light , phone is successfully paired with the speaker.

WiFi Setup

Make sure the speaker is in WiFi mode. You’ll see a blinking WHITE light indicating that the speaker is waiting for connection. If you do not see a White light, change the music source by selecting “WiFi” via the 4Stream app.

Locate the BLACK BUTTON at the back the speaker and press twice in quick succession. Speaker will enter into Setup Mode.

Use the 4Stream app to set up the speaker for WiFi connection. Press the “+” button on the upper right corner on the app to add speaker to WiFi network. Follow the instructions on the app.

Once you see a continuous WHITE light on the speaker’s indication light, speaker is successfully connected to the WiFi network.
