Decibelist began with a simple question:
Why must speakers look the way they do?
In a world where objects within our homes are increasingly intentional, many speakers still felt purely technical — designed to be hidden, separated from the spaces we live in, or treated as functional devices rather than part of the atmosphere of a room.

Decibelist was created to explore a different approach.
We see sound not merely as technology, but as spatial presence — something that shapes mood, emotion, and the experience of a space. Every Decibelist object is designed to live naturally within contemporary interiors, balancing form, materiality, and immersive sound.
From sculptural silhouettes to raw microcement finishes, our collections explore the intersection of design, architecture, and audio. Pieces like BLOCK, SLAB, and FRAME are conceived not simply as speakers, but as objects designed to coexist with the spaces around them.

At the core of Decibelist is a constant process of experimentation. Materials, textures, layered construction, and unconventional forms are explored not for novelty, but in pursuit of objects that feel emotionally resonant, visually grounded, and acoustically immersive.
Designed in Singapore and crafted in small batches, Decibelist remains intentionally independent and deeply collaborative. Across our collections, we frequently work alongside artists, designers, textile makers, and artisans whose disciplines help shape the character of each piece.

The result is a growing body of sound objects that exist somewhere between audio, design, and atmosphere.
