What started purely as an experiment to reimagine music speakers in the most unthinkable ways has turned into arguably one of our most popular custom Art Speaker projects more popularly known as the Whisky Box Speaker.
No two are ever quite the same. Each box brings its own character, history and design possibilities, and each is crafted differently to become a truly unique speaker.
This time, we transformed a Taiwanese Kavalan Soloist whisky box into an Art Speaker that is simple and traditional in appearance, yet packed with the modern music streaming features one would expect from a Decibelist speaker.
A rather unexpected meeting of tradition and technology — and, we think, a pretty good way to give a beautiful whisky box a second life.
Check out some of our other Whisky Box Speakers. Every Whisky Box Speaker is designed and customised to order and starts from $850. Book a consultation session with us to see how you can transform your whisky box into a wireless music streaming speaker.

This is not an official Kavalan product, nor is it endorsed or affiliated with Kavalan. We have simply upcycled an original Kavalan whisky box and repurposed it into a one-of-a-kind Decibelist Art Speaker.
